Flextel™ Tube Seals are custom designed for a variety of applications. The seals pictured below utilize a Nextel inner layer and a silicone rubber coated jacket. The silicone coating is added for protection from water, ozone, UV light.

This tube passes through an opening that is 1" greater in diameter than the tube. For 24 tubes, this is equivalent to a one square foot opening. With an internal draft of .35" and the temperature at 1935 deg. F in the radiant section... The cost to heat the excess air is as high as $50,000.00 annually.
