Flextech Engineering photo1		 Flextel™ Tube Seals are custom designed for a variety of applications. The seals pictured below utilize a Nextel inner layer and a silicone rubber coated jacket. The silicone coating is added for protection from water, ozone, UV light.
Flextech Engineering photo2  convec1.gif (1396 bytes)  This application shows process tubes passing through the heater wall in the convection section, and connected to an insulated header. When the heater is running, the seals are extended, as shown. When cold, these seals are 1/3 the length shown.

This tube passes through an opening that is 1" greater in diameter than the tube. For 24 tubes, this is equivalent to a one square foot opening.
