SINGLE BELLOWS TYPE TUBE SEAL

	Bellows tube seals are designed for tubes with axial thermal growth of up to four inches. The bellows can be reinforced with a Stainless Steel Rib (below) or the bellows can be sewn (left).
The tube seal on the right is designed to clamp onto a steel collar (rolled flat bar) around the tube seal penetration. When the upper part of the tube seal is compressed and clamped to the tube, the tube seal will flex as the tube seal expands or contracts.

Bellows type tube seals can also be made with fabric flanges, so that they can be bolted to the heater wall or roof. All tube seals have different closure arrangements, and have different material compositions.

Here is a demostration of how the bellows would extend and compress in an application. These pictures simulate a heater that has a few inches of axial motion.
